Join us on a culinary exploration to Flinders Island and experience the charm and adventure of sampling produce where it’s grown, meet the producers who lovingly cultivate it, and prepared by the hatted chef of Merricote, Rob Kabboord.
Featuring a full 5 course degustation menu prepared with fresh local ingredients on-site, a very select number of guests will be whisked away to Flinders Island on a private charter for an absolute once-off to experience something truly remarkable.
Enjoy an appetiser and glass of local wine during the scenic Saturday morning flight over Bass Strait from our private terminal at Moorabbin Airport.
After a short scenic flight of the north of the island, guests will be transferred to secluded Killiecrankie Bay where they will be free to explore the beautiful coastline and surrounds, before being seated in our “restaurant on the beach” for a 5 course degustation featuring only locally grown and foraged produce from Flinders Island.
Guests will be able to meet and chat with local producers and will leave with an incredibly first hand experience of what makes Flinders Island, and it’s produce, so recognised and so special.
Hosted by Flinders Island Meat, guests can expect to sample the island-unique Wallaby, Milk Fed Lamb, and crayfish pulled straight from the water before service. Only 10 places are available for this special experience – Don’t miss out!
