There are family albums, old books and paper cuttings, natural history specimens, even the old, wooden, two-roomed Whitemark Police cells circa 1916 and a great assortment of items from shipwrecks
Members of the Furneaux Historical Research Association maintain and staff the Museum at weekends; it can be inspected at other times by arrangement. Open weekends and public holidays from 1pm to 4pm in winter and daily 1pm to 5pm in Summer.
