Rowena had an hour or so to spare this morning while young Mitchell was at Duck pond (Furneaux childcare) so with laptop in hand, she visited Freckles Cafe in Whitemark. It had been a while since her last visit and the cafe has evolved into a very trendy, pleasant location indeed. With improved decor, works by local photographers and local craft for sale it has a real island feel to it. With power source available, pot of tea and lemon delicous muffin at the ready she was able to complete the morning’s book work in no time. Owned and operated by Jo Klug the cafe has a friendly welcoming atmoshere, with staff like Dotty a bubbly outgoing lady who likes to make sure you have everything you need. So prehaps visits to Freckles will become a regular event. Rowena will keep you posted
