Michelle Hirchfield & Jim Wheeler arrived on Flinders Island on the 29th June 2011, they have spent 9 days on Flinders Island and this is the 3rd time they have been back to Flinders Island. Here is what they had to say about the place,
“Hello Flinders Island. To all the local people who have made our 3rd trip so special. Thankyou so very much. Wishing we didnt have to go home tomorrow. We stayed at the wonderful Echo Hills Cottage in Lackrana with lovely hosts, thanks Terrence and thanks girls. Thanks to the MacTeirs and the Blythes for taking the time, Colesy and Ann-Maree, The hosts at the Furneaux for some lovely meals and warm open fire overlooking the water, to Jo for her lovely coffee and food at Freckles cafe, Max & Sue at Lady Barron Store, Kate for fixing the guttering at 8.30 at night, above and beyond!! The guys from Nautilus, you guys rock and absolutely handle your gear very well. It was a pleasure to meet all of you and watch you jam. You have all made us feel so welcome and we are hoping to be back permanently before the end of the year. Michelle, Jim, Clay & Holly. xxoo”
