On Sunday the 10th June 2012 we will be holding our fun runs & family day, all ages are welcome to participate. Similar to last year with jumping castle, face painter, hoopla, lots of activities for the children and live music.
More information will be provided closer to the date. Get your teams together for the fun runs, up to four people per team. Work teams, family teams or individuals runners are all encouraged to enter.
Great prizes for the winners of the fun runs. Health promotion and free BBQ supplied on the day.
Naidoc Dance, Flinders Island
Monday, June 27th, 2011On the 9th July Flinders Island Aboriginal Association Inc will be holding the annual Naidoc Dance celebration coinciding with Naidoc Week.
The dance will be held at the Lady Barron Hall starting at 7.30 pm, $10 per head, supper will be provided.
There will be a bus leaving from the Whitemark Pub (Interstate Hotel) at 7.00 pm. If you are going to travel on the bus please give Toni at FIAAI a call so they can have some idea of numbers.

Biggest Morning Tea Flinders Island
Wednesday, June 8th, 2011On the 16th May, Flinders Island Aboriginal Association Inc. hosted a morning tea to raise much needed funds for the Cancer Council. The event was a great success and thanks to the generosity of people on Flinders Island there were fantastic raffle prizes, lots of delicious food and a great deal of money raised. Well done and thank-you to everyone who contributed towards the $1500 collected.
A big thank-you to Flinders Island District High School as well for your contribution of approx $120, much appreciated.
