Monday’s at 9:30am at the Flinders Island District High School in the art room is the time for Playgroup on Flinders Island. For a $1 donation everyone with small children is welcome to come along for a socialable interactive 2hrs. The small number of Playgroup volunteers have raised thousands of dollars over the years and provide a huge variety of toys for the children. There is puzzles, jigsaws, toy bikes, train tracks and trains, plastic balls, and even a plastic kitchen complete with food, cockery and cutlery. For the children it’s like christmas, with so many different things to play with and other kids to socialise with, a fun filled two hours. Mitchell and Rowena have been to check it out the last two mondays and can highly recommend it.
