Flinders Island Car Rentals have car seats, booster seats, deck chairs, small and large eskys for hire. These items are made available to hire due to the luggage restrictions when flying to Flinders Island. Baggage limits of 15kg apply when flying with Sharp Airlines from Launceston or Essendon, extra baggage charged at $5 per kg from Essendon, Victoria and $1.5 per kg from Launceston, Tasmania.

National Parks Passes
Current park passes must be displayed for entry to Tasmania's National Parks . For entry to Strzelecki National Park on Flinders Island you will need to display your Tasmanian yearly All Parks Pass, please bring it with you or purchase one when you arrive. Flinders Island Car Rentals are Agents for Parks and Wildlife can provide a vehicle pass on arrival.

Car Seats for Hire
Safe & Sound car seats from 0-4 yrs can be fitted in all hire cars forward of rear facing to suit your child. Just let us know their weight and age and which side of the vehicle you prefer them on and we can have the car seat fitted in your hire car ready for your arrival on Flinders Island.

Safe and Sound Maxi Rider Booster seats for children up to 7yrs of age. Be aware from November 2010 all children ages 4 to less than 7 yrs must be restrained in an approved child restraint with in built harness or booster seat.
