Furneaux Freight  Pty Ltd is a shipping company based in Bridport, Tasmania.
Bridport is a small coastal town, which is a popular holiday destination. Bridport’s population is approximately 1350 people, but almost triples in summer. Bridport’s main industries are tourism, vegetable farming and fishing, specialling in scallops, crayfish and trout from Australia’s first fresh water rainbow trout farm.

Furneaux Freight Pty Ltd services the Furneaux Group of Islands, including Lady Barron, Cape Barren and an on demand service to King Island and Port Welshpool.
Bridport is considered to be the most favourable port to conduct the operations of the shipping service as it is the closest geographical proximity to Flinders Island.
Furneaux Freight Pty Ltd currently operates three purpose built ro ro vessels with a fourth vessel due to be launched in December 2010.  The construction of a new vessel aims to enhance and modernise the shipping service to the Furneaux Group of Islands.
